Hello, everyone! My name is Brandon, and it is my esteemed pleasure to welcome you to my blog, Hotel Tangier. Why the name Hotel Tangier, you ask? Well, my answer to you is... watch, The French Connection II. It stars my favorite actor, Gene Hackman; whose photo you can see behind the title of this blog. I love a sequel that doesn't require you to watch the first film (i.e. The Bourne Supremacy)... don't you?
I should note that this blog is, currently, a requirement for my Composition I course, at LaGuardia. So, you will see posts from time to time that may not be related to any particular theme, or topic of discussion. The post beneath this one is a (assignment) critique of the movie, The Matrix.

Oh, no worries. Even your class posts will be related to a particular theme. The archons will make sure of that. Have you seen Dark City?
I've always wanted to see Dark City, but I haven't watched it, yet. I did, however, glimpse at a "sequence" (I'm training myself here.)towards the end. Kiefer Sutherland's character, Dr. Schreber, kept saying, "You can do it, Johnny!" or something to that effect, to Rufus Sewell. That looked a little corny, but I can't gauge my interest in the film by that "sequence" alone.
BTW, what's an archon?
Is he a new actor or an old actor.

I've seen Dark City awhile ago, intresting story...dont want to spoil anything for you Brandon but ill be happy to talk to you about the movie after you see it.
And a archon is a type of angel or holy figure I thing, not super sure on that...
